Through out the last year as I expanded my work with Frederick Moms and Doulas, I had a new role of both managing a new business, a new team and also taking care of my photography clients. It was a blessing that many of these clients were actually one in the same, but it also meant a new juggling act. As a result, sharing the stories I was able to be a part of seemed to become less and less of a priority. Now with an awesome team in place I am excited to refocus this energy and share some of last year's awesome birth-days and babies. Over the next week I have seven beautiful birth-days and baby sessions to share and I hope you will join as I highlight some of my very favorite sessions from the last year.
To start it off, I am so excited to share sweet little Lydia's birth-day at Frederick Memorial Hospital. As first time parents, Tricia and her husband were eager to document the growth of their family and that meant bringing me in as both their doula and photographer. Tricia's pregnancy had some unexpected turns and as a result, labor turned into a longer experience...three days to be exact. It was a privilege to be with them from the beginning through bringing Lydia home.
