A little about me

Hey, I'm Brittany

Photographer, story-teller, serial entrepreneur, wife and mom.

I live in Maryland with my husband and our four crazy kids (seen above) in a small town. It has a no stop lights, but it does have a corner store and with kids that comes in pretty handy. Being in a suburb of DC my whole life, I love the slower pace of small town living although I hardly feel like life is ever slow.

I love homeschooling, homesteading, road trips in our RV, and being both a homebody and someone who is always up adventure.

Where it all started


My photography journey started in 2009 when a generous neighbor handed me a Nikon camera... I never looked back. We didn't realize it then, but he was handing me a ticket to my future. Within two years, I was a full time photographer working with some of the best in the industry.

My career has been somewhat serendipitous and I am always amazed at the opportunities I have been presented. From intimate birth rooms, to over the top weddings, glamorous portraits in city streets, to the beautiful but mundane work of a homeschooling family, the things my camera has documented is nothing short of a blessing. The stories I have been able to tell from this adventure will be the best story of my own life; and it is never lost on me that I am here because of someones generosity
